Yes. Starter is free for one child and includes the full chore, optional photo, parent approval, coins, and rewards loop. Family Plus and Family Pro add more room for bigger households.
Do kids need their own email, Apple ID, or Google account?
No. A parent gives them the family join code. They choose their profile and enter the four-digit PIN the parent created for them.
Is KidMint a bank or debit card?
No. Coins are virtual family points that stay inside KidMint. If you want coins to represent pocket money, add a reward such as “$5 allowance” and handle the money yourself.
Can I see if they actually completed the chore?
Yes. Turn on photo proof for any chore that needs it. Your child can take or choose a picture, and you review it before approving the work and awarding coins.
What ages is KidMint designed for?
KidMint is designed for ages 5–18. The child experience adapts across Sprout (5–8), Explorer (9–13), and Pro (14–18), with wording and density suited to each age group.
Can siblings use KidMint without mixing their coins?
Yes. Each child has a separate profile, PIN, coin balance, chores, and rewards. Switching children on a shared device requires the selected child’s PIN.
What happens to chore photos?
Photos are stored so your family can review completed work. They are not a public feed and are not used for advertising. Deleting the family account also deletes its proof photos.
